Four of Cups, upright
- turning away opportunities, or can’t focus on them right now
- very much in your own head
- remorse, regret…what ifs
- regretting mistakes from the past
- not interested, or have too much on your plate
- time of inward reflection
- not now, maybe later
- not satisfied with daily life, dull life
- disconnected from your inner truth
- closed from new opportunities because you’ve been hurt before
- maybe something else is better, but maybe this opportunity is that something, reflect and see for yourself
- feeling things have become stagnant
- try to find gratitude in things you do have
- health may be making you sad
- busy envying others you forget what you have
Four of Cups, reversed
- coming out of a period of heartbreak or detachment
- withdrawn from the world before
- after soul searching, realized that the relationship doesn’t work
- ready for a fresh start
- or found new ways to make a relationship work
- more appreciation for love, relationship
- finally feeling grateful after a period of feeling down being envious of others
- re-energized and positive
- pulling yourself out of the rut
- letting go of people and patterns no good for you
- stagnant career may undergo a change
- returning creativity
- taking approach to be more positive with finances

- feeling overwhelmed, too much mentally that it’s taking a toll on you
- step back, regain perspective
- recharge before the next challenge
- heal your body and mind
- need solitude to do better and reassess situation, peace of mind
- try to stay silent and inactive
- clear mind, connect with your higher self
- take time to assess your progress thus far
- retreat for a bit to get rid of stress and anxiety
- what worked and what didn’t work?
- focus energy within and find peace
- remember why you’re with partner..don’t disconnect but find ways to reconnect
- plan how you’ll deal with stress in the future
- things aren’t as bad as you may think but you feel so much pressure
- you feel things can’t get better

- running low on energy
- stress getting to a bad point-mental breakdown, health problems maybe
- giving your time to others too much
- frustrated with lack of progress, but maybe you’ve been passive?
- instead of taking action, you had hoped a conflict would work out, waited it out
- you need to withdraw from the external world, retreat and get some rest
- wanting to do everything at once
- energy is running out
- maybe try daily meditation
- even a quick nap to refresh
- maybe coming out of a period of solitude instead
- healing after bad relationship..or things getting so bad you’re losing faith in general for relationships
- going back to work after some time off
- might consider new job because unhappy

- returning home to those you love
- community spirit, coming together, gatherings
- reaching a big milestone in life or in a project
- just enjoying with those you love
- returning to familiar places, feeling welcome
- home environment- improving it, or finding a new home
- pause to celebrate what you achieved in 3 of wands
- happiness and security, stable
- sense of peace, harmony, balance
- should feel proud of yourself
- relationship probably going well!
- maybe wedding, engagement, reunion and parties
- getting along with colleagues, productive teamwork, supportive
- good finances, maybe try to treat your loved ones

- leaving home, cancelled reunions
- finding a lack of support toward your achievements
- transient, insecure, unstable
- incompatible with friends, family, or partner
- afraid of taking steps toward change toward a deepening commitment
- work relationships are strained
- office events, tension at work
- things may not go as planned
- rude behavior at work, not getting along
- struggling in poor economic situation
- finances most likely related to personal situations though
- don’t give more than you’re able to
- might experience lower self-esteem due to all the mess and lack of support

Four of Pentacles, upright
- so stuck because fixed on wealth
- so scared to spend, want to hold on to what you earned
- maybe consider investments, retirement plan, savings plan
- not really enjoying life comfortably because fear of losing that money
- but what about travel, socializing, gifts, or fun adventures??
- Don’t only focus on money that you forget happiness, family, friends, love
- preferring to stay “safe”
- wanting more control in life, getting almost possessive in relationships
- issues like insecurity and fear..holding on to past hurts, toxic, not ready to move forward
- don’t want the threats, not taking risks
- inflexible attitude, resisting change since things had worked for you the way you’ve chosen anyway
- watch that you haven’t become greedy

- reckless behavior, losing control
- losing something valuable
- gambling, theft
- ready to let go–of people, past issues, possessions, fear, resentment
- sharing too much of wealth, careful that it doesn’t get out of hand
- approaching things with a more relaxed, open attitude
- letting go of a toxic relationship
- generous in work environment
- might be negative like losing job, business not working out
- maybe someone is taking your wealth indirectly at work too
- financial instability and insecurity
- releasing negative energy
- forgiving others, letting go of past
